Warrant Officer retires after 32 years of service

Today at 10:00 members of Burgersdorp Police Station and CPF have organised a send-off function for Warrant Officer Jwaxa who served the community with diligence, integrity and pride. He was accompanied by his wife and close family.

He was stationed at Burgersdorp Visible Policing (CSC) and described as an individual who sacrificed his life serving the community for the past 32 years.

The member served under the command of Lt Col Nqoshela who describe him as follows, "This officer served the organisation with pride and to lose a person of his calibre will indeed be a great loss to the SAPS.

He went beyond the call of duty. He even went as far as recruiting informers to assist the Station in cracking serious cases against Women and Children. He was awarded a certificate of recognition by the station commander. An emotional colleague described him as a humble person, a caring father and a person who loved his job with a passion.

In response W/O Jwaxa said he was humbled to part of the SAPS family. He had enjoyed every moment at work and as he is going on pension he is going to serve the organisation and join as a CPF member.
