Police have made a breakthrough to the Mount Ayliff case of rape and assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm of a teenage girl, after a 23-year-old man was positively linked and arrested in Mount Ayliff yesterday.

The arrest follows a week long investigation, and the suspect is due to appear in Mount Ayliff magistrate’s court on Monday, 25 April 2022 on charges of rape and assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
