FICKSBURG – Two suspects have been arrested through a community tip off at Meqheleng and Ficksburg separately for allegedly dealing in drugs and dagga.

On Saturday, 27 August 2022 the community of Meqheleng and Ficksburg upon seeing police activities of handling drugs peddlers became positive and adamant to work with police.

On Saturday, 27 August 2022 at about 18:08 two arrests were executed through information provided by members of the community of Meqheleng at Zone 6 where a male suspect (49) was found dealing in dagga.

The second arrest was made in Ficksburg where a female suspect (39) was arrested for dealing in drugs, crystal meth.

Both suspects are expected to appear before the Ficksburg Magistrate court on Monday, 29 August 2022 facing charges of dealing in dagga and drugs separately.
