Two males nabbed for murder

DURBAN � An operation which included a roadblock conducted by Cato Manor police resulted in the arrest of two murder suspects. On 18 August 2019, a 30-year-old man was found dead with assault and stab wounds in Wiggins and a case of murder was opened.

During an operation on 23 August 2019, police arrested two suspects aged 25 and 30 for murder at an informal settlement in Cato Crest. A 29-year-old man was also arrested for burglary and malicious damage to property. All the arrested suspects will appear in the Durban Magistrate's Court on Monday, 26 August 2019.

The roadblock resulted in the arrest of 17 motorists for driving under the influence of intoxicating substances. The suspects appeared in the Durban Magistrate's Court yesterday. Police in Cato Manor are continuing with numerous operations throughout the weekend, searching for wanted criminals and to prevent criminal activities.
