PARKTOWN – Police are searching for suspects after four people were shot and injured in Eldorado Park on Wednesday, 08 June 2022, at approximately 12:00.

Preliminary investigation suggests that three suspects arrived in a silver grey sedan and started shooting randomly next to one of the flats in Eldorado Park. Four people were injured and sustained gunshot wounds. Three of the victims, including two learners, were taken to a nearby hospital. They are in a serious but stable condition. The fourth victim sustained minor injuries.

The motive for the shooting cannot be confirmed at this stage. Police are appealing to anyone who might have information that can help in the investigation to please call the nearest police station or Crime Stop on 08600 10111.
