Hawks seek assistance with Depoutche Elese’s murder

WESTERN CAPE � The Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation (DPCI) in Cape Town, appeals to the public to come forward with information that would lead to the arrest of the suspects involved in the killing of Depoutche Elese, a former ANC ward councillor.

On Tuesday, 06 March 2018, at about 20:30, Depoutche Elese was fatally wounded while driving into his house with his wife. His wife survived a gunshot wound on her right hand shoulder.

The motive of the killing is a subject of the Hawks investigation. Anyone with information should contact the Hawks' Investigating Officer, Captain Nel on 071 481 3415.

Credible information that would ensure that the gunmen are brought to book will be rewarded.
