FICKSBURG – On Thursday night, 12 May 2022 at about 21:00, the police were called to a shooting incident at the corner of Kestel and Bloem Streets in Ficksburg. They found the 57- year-old deceased man in the passenger seat of his vehicle with a gunshot wound to the stomach. Spent cartridges and a firearm were also found on the scene.

No one has been arrested thus far and we are requesting anyone who has information about the suspect to contact detective Lieutenant Colonel Eric Kgolanyane at 082 301 9578 or Crime Stop at 08600 10111. Tip-offs can be submitted on the My SAPS App.
