PRETORIA – The South African Police Service have arrested a couple aged 29 and 33 years for the alleged murder which occurred late in April 2019 in Mooiplaas informal settlement.
The couple and the victim were allegedly involved in a dispute during which the victim was stabbed with a knife and was taken to nearby hospital for medical treatment on 28 April 2019, however, the victim succumbed to his injuries on the 29 April 2019.
Detectives from Erasmia SAPS have since launched a manhunt which led them to Giyani in Limpopo on Friday, 31 May 2019 where two suspects were subsequently arrested, a husband and his wife, for murder. The couple made their first court appearance on Monday, 03 June 2019 and their bail application was postponed to 07 June 2019 for further police investigation.
