EASTERN CAPE – Following the robbery of a clothing store in Qonce over the weekend, police units such as Qonce flying squad, Mdantsane flying squad, Qonce and East London k9 joined by SQ Risk Security immediately responded to this complaint and traced suspects at Ginsberg near Qonce.

On seeing the police, suspects started running away and jumped fences. Police caught up with them and arrested two (2) of them aged 26 and 29 years of age. On searching them, police recovered a pistol and a gas pistol, 8 cellphones and cash, the third suspect managed to flee and is still at large. The arrested suspects are appearing before the Qonce magistrate’s court on charges of business robbery, illegal possession of fire arms and possession of suspected stolen property.
