QUEENSTOWN CLUSTER - Station Commanders together with members of Crime intelligence worked tirelessly over the weekend conducting operations around Cluster stations.
On Saturday night operations were conducted at Ilinge and then proceeded to Carthcart under the Command of Vispol Coordinator Lt Colonel Xolani Sali. Eight suspects were arrested for possession of drugs and dangerous weapons were also confiscated.
On Sunday at 14H00, members conducted roadblocks along the N6 under the safer festive season operation searching commuters and focusing on illegal firearms, drugs and traffic offences.
Cluster Commander Major General Funeka Siganga commended members for their dedication.
All suspects arrested will appear before different Magistrate Courts on Monday 11 November 2019.
