{"id":62385,"date":"2024-02-29T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2024-02-29T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/southafricavoice.com\/?guid=16583b01b72e73d86e511ecd362c4847"},"modified":"2024-02-29T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2024-02-29T00:00:00","slug":"zambezi-to-host-independence-day-celebration","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/southafricavoice.com\/zambezi-to-host-independence-day-celebration\/","title":{"rendered":"Zambezi to host Independence Day celebration"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\nKATIMA MULILO: The 34th National Independence Day celebrations will be held in the Zambezi Region this year.<\/p>\n<p>This is the first time the Zambezi Region is hosting the national independence celebration.<\/p>\n<p>In terms of historic and political events, the region has hosted Heroes&#8217; Day in 2005.<\/p>\n<p>Zambezi Chief Regional Officer, Regina Ndopu, confirmed to Nampa on Thursday that the regional council has received the notification already concerning the event from the headquarters and in turn, local authorities have formed committees to prepare for this major event.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;This is a national event. We therefore pride ourselves to host this event at this time in 2024.
