KIMBERLEY – The Olifantshoek SAPS are investigating a case of murder after an elderly female farm owner was discovered deceased on their farm approximately 15km outside of Olifantshoek on the N14 road.<\/p>\n
Preliminary reports indicate that the discovery was made by a neighbour on Tuesday, 16 August 2022 at about 09:00 and the deceased\u2019s body was discovered inside the house with her hands tied.<\/p>\n
The elderly male owner was found in the veld on his farm where he managed to untie himself.<\/p>\n
The black GWM bakkie of the owner was found abandoned approximately 2km from the farm with the help of the community and a local security company. The elderly male victim received medical treatment.<\/p>\n
Police are on the lookout for two male suspects who allegedly fled with a cellphone of the victim and firearms from the safe.<\/p>\n
The John Taolo Gaetsewe Acting District Commander, Brig Johnny Besnaar has activated all resources to expedite the apprehension and arrest of the suspects.<\/p>\n
