Tomorrow, Thursday, 4 May 2023, the Western Cape Department of Agriculture is launching the 2023 Western Cape Prestige Agri-Worker Competition in Hermanus, Overberg District.

The Prestige Agri-Awards Competition showcases the excellent work done in the agricultural sector in this province. In addition, it acknowledges, celebrates and inspires pride in its workforce and encourages them to learn new skills.

Last year, nine hundred and ninety-four agri-workers representing 15 regions competed across 11 categories in the competition.

Participants will compete for prizes to the value of approximately R100 000, including an overseas study tour.
