KARIEGA – A 28-year-old male pedestrian was fatally injured following a collision in Durban Street, Kariega at about 18:00 last night, 26 August 2022.

It is alleged that a community member noticed something lying in the road and established that it was the body of an unknown male. The community member immediately informed the local police.

Uitenhage detectives are investigating a case of culpable homicide.

The name of the victim will be released once formal identification has been completed.
