EAST LONDON - It is alleged that on 16 May 2019 approximately 19:30, a male and female between the ages of 49 and 52 years old were found lying in a pool of blood outside a house at Jade Street, Amalinda in East London.
It is alleged that while she was inside her car talking on the phone, the woman's ex-boyfriend entered the house carrying a firearm on one hand and a knife on the other hand. He then asked the victim's whereabouts from the tenant but he was informed that she was not in the house. The suspect then walked outside and saw the victim getting out of her vehicle. It is alleged that he then shot the victim on the upper body and then shot himself also in the upper body. The police and paramedics were called and they were both certified dead. A 9mm Norinco pistol with a serial number was found on the scene.
