Odendaalsrus: Members of Welkom Public Order Policing (POP) received a tip-off and two alleged drug dealers were arrested and they will appear on the 05 September 2022 in Odendaalsrus Magistrates’ Court. Members applauded for a job well done.

On the 03 September 2022 members of Welkom POP followed up information and approached a house in K6 Section of Kutloanong, Odendaalsrus. The following drugs were found and seized: 10 quarters and half Mandrax tablets. A 33-year-old man was arrested for possession of drugs.

Members proceeded with Visible Policing when they noticed a suspicious looking man at a tavern. He was approached and searched, the following were found: 30 Nyaope drugs, 15 Crystal Meth satchets and cash that amounts to R65 – 00. A 31-year-old man was arrested for dealing in drugs.
