Shonubi Partners International Law Firm

Shonubi Musoke and Company Advocates, one of the leading law firms in Uganda, has partnered with a global law firm, Norton Rose Fulbright.
In a press release issued by Norton Rose Fulbright, the partnership will enable the two law firms to “collaborate on selected client matters to provide seamless legal support to clients, particularly in the areas of energy and infrastructure.”
Norton Rose Fulbright is a global law firm with the world’s pre-eminent corporations and financial institutions, with a full business law service. The firm says it has more than 3,800 lawyers based in more than 50 cities across Europe, the United States, Canada, Latin America, Asia, Australia, Africa, and the Middle East.
While commenting about the partnership, Rob Otty, the managing director of Norton Rose Fulbright in South Africa, said: “Our alliance with Gill, Godlonton & Gerrans and Shonubi Musoke & Co Advocates reflects the strategic importance of Africa to our global business.”
Gill, Godlonton & Gerrans is one of the leading corporate law firms in Zimbabwe, which also partnered with Norton Rose Fulbright.
With the new partnership, Shonubi Musoke & Co Advocates joins a trend which has been adopted by some of Uganda’s leading firms such as Kampala Associated Advocates, Katende, Ssempebwa & Co Advocates, and MMAKS and Company Advocates, which already have partnerships with global firms.
