Police seek public assistance to find a missing woman aged 23

The Police in Mt Frere are investigating a case of missing person following the disappearance of a 23-year-old woman, Lindokuhle Thala from Mount Frere.

According to the information, the missing person was last seen by her Sister on Saturday 25 December 2021 when they were returning from a funeral in Tabankulu. On the way she allegedly took a Taxi to visit her child at Tyeni Location. She had since that time disappeared and could not be located in her phone.

Police efforts to locate her at friends and relatives were not successful. It is suspected that she drowned in Mzimvubu River. Police search and rescue divers are searching the surrounding areas.
