Police seek community assistance following murder in Kamesh

KING WILLIAMS TOWN - Investigating officers from the South African Police Service in Kamesh in the Uitenhage Cluster would like to make an urgent appeal to members of the community to assist them with information that could lead to the arrest of the suspect/s involved in a murder.

It is alleged that the 37-year-old Zoliswa Jonas and four males were socializing and enjoying some alcoholic beverages at a residence in Nkakatha Street, Mandella, Kamesh yesterday, 1 May 2019. At about 19:00, the 37-year-old Zoliswa Jonas went to sleep. At about 08:35 this morning, 2 May 2019, a neighbor went to the residence and found Jonas still lying in bed. When the neighbor went to the bed, she discovered that Jonas was severely assaulted and had passed on. SAPS Kamesh are investigating a case of murder.
