Intelligence led operation by SAPS Booysens resulted to the arrest of four suspects believed to be part of the syndicate that is targeting construction companies and robbing them machinery and tools.
Police followed up on information and arrested the suspects who were found in possession of generators, grinders, stumpers and other machineries. During the arrests, police also seized a vehicle that was reported stolen in Alberton and three vehicles that are suspected to be stolen. The suspected stolen items were recovered in Soweto and Kibler Park.
Police are appealing to people who have been victims of robbery where construction machineries were stolen to please contact Sergeant Lebogang Mashaba on 083-582-8645
