Operation Gijima Tsotsi conducted in Port Elizabeth

PORT ELIZABETH - The two day cross cluster disruptive operations termed 'Gijima Tsotsi' kicked off in Port Elizabeth this afternoon at 14:00. Station Commanders from six clusters (Port St Johns, Port Alfred, East London, King Williams Town, Mdantsane and Motherwell) joined officers and members from Mount Road Cluster and conducted vigorous operations in the Humewood policing area today.

Humewood Station Commander, Brig Bentley welcomed the Station Commanders to her policing precinct and highlighted her hotspot areas. She indicated that the operations will be concentrated in three hotspot areas and will be executed in three phases.
