Information sought by Mthatha police

EASTERN CAPE - Police in Mthatha are looking for an information that may lead to the arrest of suspects that hijacked and robbed a businessman near Ultra Shell in Mthatha on the 30 May 2019 at about 22h00. It is alleged that the businessman was dropping someone when unknown gunmen pointed him with firearms demanding his pistol and money.

It is further alleged that he was ordered to call his wife and were both taken to their business where an undisclosed amount of money was taken. Police are following all possible leads however we request anyone with information to contact D/Col Ntanjana on 0827797122 or may call our Crime Stop Line on 0860 10111.

"We are concerned about people that gamble with other people's lives for their gain. We condemn and discourage these acts. We will make it a point that we root them out of our society." Said the Acting Cluster Commander Brigadier Mandlakhe Twala.
