Prime Minister, Saad Hariri, received on Tuesday night at the Grand Serail the World Bank's Vice President for the Middle East and North Africa, Hafez Ghanem, heading a delegation.
At the end of the meeting, Ghanem said: "We held an important meeting with Prime Minister Hariri during which we discussed the projects carried out by the World Bank in Lebanon and the projects it can offer to strengthen our partnership."
He added that discussions focused on ways to improve infrastructure investments in energy, telecommunications and transport.
"We are pleased that constitutional institutions are now functioning. This makes us optimistic because it reflects positively on the economy and boosts growth," Ghanem noted.
He concluded that his goal with the PM would be to increase investments in Lebanon.
