Drug bust a great success: Rosedale

NORTHERN CAPE - An unsuspecting 33-year-old female was arrested for dealing in drugs in Rosedale after police raided and pounced on her premises. On 20 August 2019 at about 17:00 the Rosedale Crime Prevention unit followed up on information and arrested the female at her house situated in the Rosedale Squatter Camp. The police confiscated mandrax tablets with an estimated street value of R162 000 and Tik to the value of R17 220 that was stashed inside the premises.

The suspect should be appearing in the Upington Magistrates' Court on charges of dealing in drugs soon. The Rosedale Station Commander, Col Schalk Andrews commended the SAPS members for their swift response which led to this sterling success.
