In the quest to rid our communities of drugs, the Kimberley K9 under the command of Lieutenant Colonel Damane arrested a 59-year-old man after a dagga plantation was discovered in his yard at Jan Kempdorp.
The dagga plantation estimated at the street value of R30 000 was discovered on today. The suspect is expected to appear before Jan Kempdorp Magistrates' Court on a charge of dealing in dagga.
On another incident the team arrested two male suspects at Pampierstad for possession of drugs. The suspects aged 18 and 39 years old were found in possession of dagga and tik estimated to the street value of R680.00. Both suspects will appear before Pampierstad Magistrates' Court. Police investigations continue.
