WESTERN CAPE - The Anti-Gang Unit is making headway in their pursuit to disarm the criminals in the Western Cape. This afternoon AGU members were led to a residence in Oudehout Crescent, Netreg, Bishop Lavis where they conducted a search operation. Their information proved to be accurate as they came across an unlicensed 9mm pistol, a large quantity of various calibre rounds of ammunition, several firearm magazines and 1086 mandrax tablets. The suspect, a 43-year-old man was arrested and he is expected to make a court appearance in Bishop Lavis once he has been charged.
