911 Bikers Rural Safety Awareness Campaign

These Group of Motor Bikers was touring through the Limpopo Province this weekend raising an awareness on Rural Safety, mainly farm attacks, led by Pastor. TJ. Mare.

They arrived in Makhado and welcomed by the Station Commander Colonel Mabatha, the Station Management, Farm watchers, Sector Crime Forum members and the CPF.

The bikers appreciated the work being done by the local SAPS and the other stakeholders in ensuring safety to the Rural Community and they encouraged partnership policing to continue and they handed the memorandum to the station commander and they proceeded to Thohoyandou Police Station.

In Thohoyandou, as part of their main motive of strengthening a solid relationship between the Police and the Farmers, a dedicated Team of about 25 Bikers handed the Memorandum of Appreciation to the Thohoyandou Station Commander Brigadier S.W Mashava who was accompanied by the CPF Chairperson of the Station Mr Netshiombo, SAPS members and Community members were also witnessing.

Pastor T.J Marias appreciated the job well done by the Police on arresting dangerous criminals and also by preventing more farm attacks and killings and he also encouraged the police to maintain and sustain the good relationship with farmers.

The Station Commander Brig. Mashava gave assurance to the Bikers/Famers that the police will always go extra mile to prevent farm attacks or killings in the area, so as the Station CPF Chairperson Mr Netshiombo also support what the Brigadier said, the Bikers dispersed peacefully after the Pastor T.J Marias prayed, they proceeded to Mphephu SAPS.

On their arrival, they handed over the memorandum to the Station Commander Colonel Luvhengo and that was their last tour in the Vhembe District.
